A Casual Write/Artlocke CaC

I will not necessarily be sharing moon by moon, but rather important event by important event.

This is casual and my first clanshare, so I'm keeping the requirements simple: I just have to write something for each event that seems worth sharing. Sometimes it will be full prose. Sometimes it will be a brief summary. But I will always write something more than just the bare game text.

I am an artist by trade, so I will likely do art here and there.

Otherwise… strap in! I love making stories.

Claiming a Cat

To claim a cat, ping me (@JustCaytlin) in the thread with their name, and make up one interesting random fact about them. (You must have the fact, or it won't count!)

</aside>

Claiming a cat means:

  1. You will be pinged any time an event happens that concerns your cat. (You may request to not be pinged.)
  2. You can suggest ways your cat reacts to events, request patrols, and offer potential story arcs for them, but do keep it within the bounds of their in-game personality.
    1. Generally, I'm playing this game for myself, so it’s unlikely this will be common. When I do solicit a response, the window for responding will be pretty narrow if I'm on a roll. Consider this more a "bonus possibility" than a "promised reaction."
    2. In addition, although I may massage the game’s outcomes, the game’s RNG is what determines most things!
  3. Mates will be decided in-game regardless of players, but if your cats have kits, both players can work together to provide names for them.
  4. As long as you’re somewhat active in the clanshare thread, you are welcome to claim up to 2 living cats, plus one free baby slot if your kitty has kittens and you want to claim one.
  5. If your cat dies, you may either relinquish your hold on that cat or wait for a suitable reincarnated replacement (determined by me).
  6. Claims on new kits are prioritized as follows:
    1. A player of a dead cat gets first dibs on a suitable reincarnation.
    2. Players without a cat then may claim 1 kit
    3. Then the players of the kit(s)’ parents may each claim a kit
    4. Then active players interested may claim a kit
  7. Claims on new loner/kittypet/rogue additions to the clan are prioritized as follows:
    1. Waitlisted players get first choice
    2. Then the rest of the folks interested may choose
  8. You're welcome to make them your OC. If I do art of them just make sure I'm credited.

More rules about claiming a cat may show up later if it turns out they're needed, but for now, let's keep it simple.

Here’s the list of currently unclaimed cats. If the list is empty, feel free to ping me to get onto the waitlist.
